Fanning the Fires of Spring?
Ahhhhh, the dreams we dreamed when spring finally sprung, right?
Pots of tulips and darling daffodils, perky petunias and crackling fires in the fireplace...
What? Fires in the fireplace for spring?
A-yup. Chilly temps around here lately merited, hopefully, one of the last fires until fall.
Our wood-burning fire was crackling warm and toasty, that's for sure.
TELL US WHAT ONE THING YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE ABOUT SPRING.

I love the return of the signing cheerful wrens!
I could cuddle up by that fire with a cup of tea and good book. Been cold here too. The tide is turning, supposed to go up to 70 next week. Hope spring springs there soon.
Can you believe we have the heat on here in Georgia? And Monday it is going to be high 80's!
I'm not a true fan of spring, as there's too much pollen here, and it's the precursor to the fiery thing we call summer in SE Texas. Having said that, the thing I love about spring is the way the new leaves look on trees, so fresh and unspoiled.
Love having the bedroom windows open just bit to listen to the gentle rain falling and the spring peepers serenading me as I fall asleep. Lovely....
Although our weather was a bit cooler and wetter, it wasn't cold enough to have a fire. I love how the air smells so clean and fragrant with trees and flowers blooming. And I love seeing the wildlife excited about the season, XOXO
A fire burning in the spring, that's different to see, although it did rain for this weekend. And you have a pink fireplace, how lovely.
The thing I love about spring here is the Pink and White blossom trees. They are glorious in northern California.
love, ~Sheri
