Around here, they hang from many, many windows in most rooms of the house.
This week, I spent some time in a guest bedroom, where I usually never sit.
The afternoon sun was streaming in through the lace curtains.
A lovely pattern showed up on the nearby wall.
It was a pretty and comforting scene.

Love lace curtains...unfortunately my windows are all custom and they are too expensive to have in my house but I do have them in one bathroom window. I have blinds on all my sliding glass doors and and curtains and drapes in my other windows. Enjoy the sun when you can.
We love lace at windows ... we use it in several rooms. And like you, I love the patterns it creates when the light shines through.

Love the look of lace curtains in a window; yours look stunning. They do add an air of romance and mystery.
I do have some lace valences in the quest room and some lace trimmed valences in the living room and dining room. They are my favorites. I also have some pink lace curtains in the kitchen which I enjoy. We get the morning sun in there and it is a beautiful sight to see the sun streaming in thru them.
Looks like more showers here until Friday. I think we are having April showers in May!
I do like your lace curtains - actually LOVE them. I bet your house is so romantic. Did you enjoy sitting in the guest room? Here I have all blinds. And just a couple well i guess you would not call them curtains - more like some valances....

Yes, absolutely. My living room has lace curtains. I love lace. yours are pretty.
I have many lace curtains they give a degree of privacy without blocking out to much light.

I had a similar post in mind about my kitchen curtains but you said it so beautifully, I need not post it. Your curtains are charming. And the patterns on the wall mesmerizing.
My wife is in love with laced curtains, and she has decorated several windows in our home with them. I like how they let in a bit of sun without blinding me or putting a glare on my electronics. I recommend looking at thrift stores for laced curtains. There are times where you can find several patterns in just one store.
