Another Used Book Sale Heaven?

Walking into a room where there is a book sale is like going on a treasure hunt.

It's exciting because one never knows what fabulous books might be found.

Books by favorite authors...

Books for children....

Books to buy as gifts...

Books on favorite hobbies...

Books for the bedside table...

Books for the coffee table...

Oh yeah, books galore fill the heart with wonder.

The ones shown in this post are from a book sale in Williamstown, a western Massachusetts town that is home to the prestigious Williams College.

The sale took place in a huge auditorium so there were thousands of books from which to choose.

Books, the more the merrier is a good motto.

Got to love them!

HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU THINK CAN BE FOUND IN YOUR HOUSE?

In spite of having (I suppose) 1,000 books in our house, the book section is one of the first I head to in a thrift store or church rummage sale. "Just in case," I tell myself! I actuality, I should be having a used book sale myself!

I love books. I love sales of books too. Treasures and bargains in one place. PERFECT.

One can never have too many books! I probably have 200 or 300 hundred books in the "Library" which is actually a room off the kitchen with a large bookcase in it. I took the liberty of naming it the "Library".

Love the book choices you made; especially the one about Faeries and the Tea Time book. When is the tea party?

Love, love , love to read and love books. I have a ton of them and every now and then I have to weed them out and bring them to the local library for their annual book sale. Now that I have my kindle I do not read too many read books anymore....just saying!

Very few books in my house anymore - I have found tha I much prefer to use the Kindle app on my iPad, but there are many, many books there! Still, I do enjoy a good used book sale and appreciate the art that accompanies children's books.

Ooh, that "Taking Time for Tea" book looks like an especially good one. It is never possible to have too many tea books.

Actually, in my opinion, one can never have too many books (of any kind), but my husband would disagree. You see, we've moved several times, and moving dozens of boxes of books gets expensive when paying by weight.

(I used to visit you a couple years ago, when I had a different blog (Magnolia Cottage). Life has now settled down, and I'm back to blogging again.

WOW...oh I love books, real books that you can hold in your hand, read over and over and now, share with grandchildren. Lovely books Susan. I try to keep my love of books confined to the space I have, but.....I think they are wonderful gifts too. Match the hatch as my fly fishing hubby says.
Have a good weekend..
Love
Linda

Oooooo, the first one is my cup of tea. What a nice assortment of books that you found, Susan. I only have one book case filled with books, and another one with children's books. I love those the most. :) "Taking Time For Tea" sounds delightful.
