When a sister visited from her home in California this summer, we went on an excursion to Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts.
Volunteers grow numerous kinds and colors of gorgeous blooms on an abandoned bridge!
This blog has had previous posts on this unique attraction.
(If interested, you can check out one here .)
It is a testimony to the planning and hard work of volunteers.
They put on a truly spectacular display of blooms and deserve medals for the resulting project.
If a lot of money ever came my way, I'd definitely share it with this public endeavor.
The day trip was a blast from start to flowery finish.
WHAT IS THE LAST UNIQUE PROJECT YOU SAW?

Nothing in the world prettier than God's work. Love all these photos and loved the Bridge of Flowers too!
Absolutely beautiful!!
This was a soothing post. Many years ago, when my dad lived in Nevada, there was a huge rose garden next to a playground that parents could walk through. It was a delight, and smelled wonderful.
Great pictures of the Bridge of Flowers; it is a unique place and it looked like you had a perfect summer day to enjoy it.
