Aloe Vera to the Rescue!

All kitchens need an aloe vera plant.

The times we haven't had one perched on a shelf or on top of the fridge, I missed it terribly.

When one burns an arm or finger while baking or cooking, aloe vera comes to the rescue.

All one has to do is snap off a piece and run the thick, clear liquid inside over the burn.

Pain stops almost immediately.

It's like a miracle substance.

Aloe vera can be used for dozens of things but it's tops for burns sustained in the kitchen.

DO YOU KEEP AN ALOE VERA PLANT IN YOUR HOUSE?

I don't have one but should! My Dad always had them growing and would give me one when I needed it. I guess I'll need to buy one now! Hugs!

Susan, I'm so glad you know about the aloe vera plant. My mother-in-law first introduced me to aloe vera and its healing effects many years ago. Every since then, it has been a wonderful natural remedy that I've used - the gel especially helps with sunburns during the California summers, and aloe vera is good for so many other things. It is amazing, and I'm fortunate to have had my mother-in-law tell me about it many years ago.

love, ~Sheri

Hi Susan, no, I have never grown a plant! I have used the gel for burns. Sounds like a good plan to keep one in the kitchen!
