Minnie Mouse Kitchen Set Comes to a New Home

The call came on a weekday morning and led to a Minnie Mouse kitchen set coming to a new home.

My daughter was taking a walk when she spotted the totally adorable toddler set.

Someone had placed it out in front of a house for trash pick-up.

Always ready for a bargain, especially when it's free, I jumped into my car and drove to the house where the set waited on the green in front.

The Minnie Mouse mini-kitchen set-up was, indeed, so darned cute and in perfect shape.

Stopping the car, I opened the back, stashed the kitchen set inside, and gave a nod of thanks in the direction of the owner's house.

Then I took off as quickly as possible, as junkyard sleuths are apt to do.

Scrubbed and left to dry in the sun, the little kitchen center is sure to get plenty of use by toddlers this summer.

DO YOU EVER STOP FOR THINGS BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THAT ARE FREE-FOR-THE-TAKING?

I always find good things at the curb, like a perfectly good easel. Your find was terrific! This is so cute.

No I never have picked up anything that was free on the curb. I bet your grandchildren will love playing with that set though.

What a great find! Yes, I stop for all sorts of stuff. I once found the blue bench that adorns my front porch, chairs for my daughters house, a Blow Mold Santa Claus, and various tables. I just love finding Free stuff! :) Kit
