Advent Begins
Christians world-wide are now preparing for the birth of Christ.
Today is the first Sunday of Advent, the weeks leading up to the big day.
Despite all the crass commercialism in society, the birth of the Baby Jesus is still the main reason Christians celebrate Christmas.
All good in the world is from Him....absence of anger and resentment, compassion, encouragement, forgiveness, gentleness, kindness, understanding, and, of course, love.
As we begin this special season, let's remember the message in the plaque, shown in this post.
Love is, indeed, more precious than gold, for love is the way of Jesus, the son of the Heavenly Father.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE BEST ABOUT THIS SEASON?

I love the message on the plaque Susan...so true. We all should heed that message around the world. I love all of the season of advent and Christmas. It's the happiest time of the year for me.

Yes, our church was all decked in Purple this morning with the lovely Advent wreath. Susan, I love your little pink frost girl. I have the exact same one in blue. I was just telling another blog friend that I would love to have more of the "frosty" people, as I like to call them haha. Enjoy this wonderful Advent season.
love, ~Sheri
