Peace.
It's actually one way of striving to live.
It can be pretty challenging to obtain peace in this beautiful but super busy Christmas season.
"To do" lists get longer and more involved.
Christmas baking, cards, shopping, wrapping, and so forth, entwined with the usual obligations, usurp almost every second of the days.
It is sweet and innocent Jesus. The new Messiah. The baby king. The little one who represents hope and sanity in a crazy world.
We have the advent wreath in the middle of the kitchen table.
This is the second Sunday of advent.
We will now light two candles and pray by their flickering light before each meal.
It's comforting to stop, breathe deeply, and turn all the sorrows and worries of life over to the little Lord Jesus.
He is the hope of the world.
He is peace personified.
HOW DO YOU, PERSONALLY, FIND PEACE AMID THE BUSYNESS OF THE SEASON?

Beautiful depiction and reminder.
People put too much pressure on themselves this time of year. I just don't get caught up in it. Striving for peaceful moments is much better for one's sanity and soul. :)
Singing in the church choir is immensely gratifying and brings me peace and serenity. Jesus is the reason for the season has always been my mantra.
Beautiful. I had hoped to make an advent candle this year, but did not. The trick may be to make it now for next year. I like the idea of putting it on the kitchen table. Your thoughts on peace are thoughts much needed today. Blessings.
This will be a very peaceful christmas for us.

Your sweet post came at a perfect time, as I've had to deal with something at this time. I often wonder why some people just don't let the Christmas season be. They make it complicated, and this should be a time of peace and only peace, as your post exudes. Thank you, dear one. : )

I love your angels - they look like they are flying. Very pretty. Yes I think we have to say no to things that stress out out and yes to resting.
