This is the time of year when there are many events and celebrations.
There's also a new baby to celebrate, three high school and college graduations, and, of course, Mother's Day.
It's really a joyous time as well as expensive.
However, life's happiest moments add to one's appreciation of being alive, right?
Luckily, the weather has turned bright and sunny----a most welcome change after probably 10 days of grey and rain.
The backyard fountain is making beautiful sounds and birds are enjoying meals at the feeder.
For now, at this moment, all is well.

You are correct about everything you said - things are awakening and it is going to be a wonderful and busy and expensive month.
That's a gorgeous yellow bush. May is a busy month for many people. Quiet here, even moreso because Ramadan started yesterday.
Our blooming bushes and trees are now greening, but when the world colors I rejoice. Cherish sunny days, which haven been far and few here.
June is our expensive month. New baby as in grand?
Looking forward to spending time with my daughter and son in law who are visiting me from Boston. I only get to see her a couple times a year so this is a very special time for me.
