Blog Break's "Ovah"

Hello Blog Peeps!

It's been a whirlwind few days but the blog break was really good.

We took a little mini-excursion to the beach in Connecticut.

There is nothing more relaxing than luxuriating on a sunny, sandy beach with ocean waves gently lapping the shore.

No reading, no thinking, no worrying, no computers, no cell phones, no meetings,  no television, no nothin' but peace and calm relaxation.

Photos in this post are of a sunset, taken of a marsh that was visible from the back deck of the beach house.

The marsh was the home of a lone egret.

A swan family that resided there years ago is gone now.

Deep gratitude for being alive filled my heart and soul.

There are no photos of the beach, itself, because that would have required taking a cell phone (for the camera)  down to the shore with me and that wasn't happening.

One night we ate lobster, shrimp, and steamed clams and they were all beyond lusciousness.

Now it's back to reality but in a refreshed, happy,  (as possible, given the state of affairs in America), mindset.

Hope each of you has had a good week.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BLOG BREAKS?
