Nothing beats lace curtains at the window to make a house look like a home.
At least that's what appeals to me.
I love how the sunlight filters through the patterned lace.
In the living room here, there are pieces of cranberry glass on every window.
It looks so pretty with the lace curtains behind it.
If a piece of lace is seen at a yard sale or in a thrift shop, it's very hard to pass it up.
Modern decorators often eliminate all traces of lace as well as brass.
Both are loved around here and they are going to stay!
