Country fairs are so much fun to attend.
There's so much to see, smell, taste, hear, and experience.
Recently, in the quaint, countryside town of Blanford, Massachusetts, we attended a fair.
It's fun to see all the items that have been entered into competitions such as cakes, veggies, photographs, and so much more.
The veggie display shown below won a ribbon:
There are always lots of animals at fairs, too, as well as all kinds of rides for the little kids.
(Expensive, though. Wish fair planners would take family budgets into consideration but it seems that they do not.)
Of course, what would be a fair without fry dough, candy apples, French fries, ice cream, and hamburgers and hotdogs?
The Blandford Fair also had a humdinger of a fiddle competition. It was great and filled the air with music.
What a totally delightful afternoon it becomes when one goes to a country fair.
