Gifts of Autumn

The foliage in New England in the fall is quite exquisite.

This year, there have been a lot of trees dressed in golden yellows, some oranges, but not too many reds.

Luckily, during an excursion with out-of-town guests, we discovered some lovely red trees!

It was wonderful to discover the scarlet ladies.

We had a delicious lunch at a pub where the fireplace was just cozy and comforting. Loved it!

What a gift it was to be able to see such loveliness.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON OF THE YEAR AND WHY?

I love fall as it is a relief from the hot summer. But the seasons will come whether I like/dislike one or not. I try to look for the beauty of each.
I am sure you will be posting pics showing the loveliness of each season.

Your photos are gorgeous. The trees in all their splendid colours really do outdo themselves every fall.

Autumn was always my most favourite, but I've grown to love and truly love each season when it comes, so my favourite season now is the season we're in at the time.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Absolutely gorgeous! We got cold weather so early this year that our leaves are just turning brown and falling off.

Most of our gums are evergreen but we have a few that lose their leaves but not where near the colour display that you have.
