Soon to Be Long Gone, But Not Forgotten

Believe it or not, in western Massachusetts, we are still basking in the glow of sun speckled golden leaves and a few brilliantly colored red trees, as well.

It is like walking inside a kaleidoscope.

Sometimes, I just pull my car over to the side of the road to luxuriate in the intense beauty all around me and, of course, to snap, snap, snap photos on my trusty ol' cell phone.

Even inside the house, the views from all windows are just breathtaking.

It will be short-lived, however, as heavy rain and whipping winds are predicted.

Trick-or-treat  night has even been postponed until Saturday.

Ahhhhh, beloved foliage, I bid you a fond and loving "adios."

See ya' next year (God-willing and the creeks don't rise.)

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE TREE?

Beautiful. Our leaves in Atlanta are now really starting to change. I love looking at them, but hate when rain and wind blow them away. xo Laura

Beautiful....I do not have a favorite but the red ones are gorgeous. I love to see the changing colors of trees in the fall in New England.

We had a lovely Halloween, even tho it was quite cold. My favorite trees have to be my apple trees. They are why I bought my house. Happy November!! 🍁 Kit

How can people see that tree and then not believe in the God who made it?
