Seek the Stillness

Today's message is a good one.

It's on a painting that hangs in the kitchen.

It was done by my niece, Amy, with a potato dipped in paint.

She gave the painting one Christmas.

Its message is simple but powerful.

When we allow ourselves to become still, (a rare thing in this day and age), it is easier for God to speak to us.

The noise of the world drowns Him out but in silence, we find Him.

Today, may you take time to be still.

HOW DO YOU FIND PEACE IN THIS CHAOTIC WORLD?

These words pop out at me this morning, 'but in silence, we find Him'. And how we need Him in these troubled days.

Such a lovely painting from your niece -- lovely in its design and message.

Wishing you a beautiful Sunday.

Shalom Shalom Shalom Peace be with you and with your spirit. I find it during daily Mass and through reading verses in the Bible and through sacred music.

Be Still and Know That I Am God is my favorite verse, Susan. So, you can imagine how special it was to read on your post today. Your candle is lovely. It reminds me to unpack my candles from the move and light one up. : )
