Spring has sprung.
The first day was Saturday, March 20th.
Both the front and back doors of the house were flung open but it was ch-ch-chilly outside.
The sun shone down on everything and that was very pleasant.
Sure enough, some came to the feeder in the backyard and that was cause for great happiness.
Within a short time, both doors were closed and the heater was popped on.
No need to freeze just because it's spring, right?
Plus, we still have to conserve the expensive oil that keeps the burner rumbling.
The little bunbun in this post is one of my all time faves.
He's on a counter in the downstairs bathroom this year and is a sure fire smile-maker.
This pink bunny sits on top of the hall china cabinet.
This is a wonderful time of year because there are warm days, flowers, and birds to look forward to.
There is so much to be thankful to God for.
Spring makes the heart fill to the brim with gratitude and even overflow.

I love your bunnies! We had a very windy and cool first day of spring. Like you, I enjoy the chatter and activity of the birds this time of year.
I look forward to seeing more of my friends and eating out in a restaurant and going to Mass inside my church...all things I haven't done for over a year. I'm happy it's spring there for you finally.
