Home Sweet Home

It is a gift to have a home.

Being away on vacation, as I have been, is also a terrific gift.

There are dear family members to love and be near again, new experiences, new places to see, and new things to do.

When it all comes to an end, it's great to be home, too.

My vacation was to Colorado.

It was absolutely a blessing to see dear family members and spend precious time with them.

Now, memories can be treasured, photos looked at again and again, and every present minute appreciated.

WHAT IS SPECIAL TO YOU ABOUT BEING HOME?

I love being in my home. No matter where I travel it's always good to be back in my own bed among familiar things that I treasure. I love to travel but I also LOVE staying home.

Home is my favorite place to be, Susan. I love to see family and friends and spend wonderful time with them. But it's always good to be home, and I appreciate this safe haven very much. My best friend used to live in Colorado until she moved back. She lived there so many years, that it is home to her. I hear it is a beautiful place. Lots of mountains and snow. She used to get so much snow in her area, that she longed for sunshine and made a trip to Palm Springs, California every year. Now, I'm the one who lives in the mountains and snow. Funny how things change. : ) I love how you appreciate "home" so very much, Susan.

It is good to go home again. A dear friend I lost a few years ago has a beautiful daughter and I got to know her after her dads passing. She and her husband live in Colorado Springs and I always remind her that whenever we ended a conversation Mike, her dad, would say, there is no place like home. He is right. Thanks for sharing your trip. Glad you had safe travels. :-)
