Writing Straight from the Heart: Signs of Fall

Telltale signs of fall are everywhere.

There's a real nip in the air early mornings and evenings.

The light has changed during the day and it's already getting darker earlier.

In and around the house, colors of autumn are flashing in seasonal decorations that have been rediscovered from plastic bins in the attic.

Fall is my very favorite season so it is going to be stretched out as long as humanly possible.

Red Rose Alley said...: I love everything about Autumn. How fun it must have been to get all your Fall bins out from the attic and start decorating. I chuckled what you said at the end about stretching the season out because Nel just said the other day that since we are in such troubling times, then we should start to decorate a month earlier to enjoy it all. For instance, start decorating in November for Christmas! I thought it was a good idea. ; ) Your Fall door wreath is lovely, and I like how you adorned your lantern with a leaf vine. I saw a Disney door mat at the grocery store and it looked so fun for the season. Yours is so festive.
