Looking Upward in Autumn

(This is a tree in our front yard.)

These are the fall days when sunshine bathes everything in molten gold.

Most days find me with camera-in-hand, looking upward.

The sight of trees festooned in fall foliage never fails to fill a heart with utter wonder.

Such vistas are difficult to explain in words.

(Wouldn't this be quite a tree to decorate for Christmas?)

No matter how many autumns we have been gifted to admire, the current foliage continues to stun us with its intense beauty.

It's glorious.

Trees stun us with their magnificent multi-colored attire.

All seasons of life are priceless gifts and autumn is no exception.

DO YOU HAVE FALL FOLIAGE WHERE YOU LIVE?

We do have fall foliage here in So Cal but not near me...in the mountain regions. I do have a couple maple trees in my backyard that have leaves that are golden...YAY for a little bit. I love New England in the fall.

Hello Susan,
Oh, the golden leaves against the brilliant blue sky are gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing the beauty from just outside your door.🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁Mildred
