Work for a Peaceful Holiday Season

No matter how many attempts are made or how hard I try, it has proven impossible to make the Christmas  season peaceful.

The little fellow in red, shown in today's post, has a Merry Christmas sign on his chest.

In reality, he looks more pooped out than peaceful.

 I feel the same way.

The "to do" lists are made, many items daily get eventually crossed off , but the list rarely gets completed.

The Christmas season should not get so busy that one has to practice deep breathing (like I'm doing a lot these days.)

It should be more slowed down, focused on the Baby Jesus, and love but how to achieve those three things remain a mystery.

HOPE YOUR DAY TODAY IS ALL YOU WANT IT TO BE, INCLUDING PEACEFUL.  (HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL.)

Just take deep breaths and do one thing at a time. Do not stress over lists. What you can do you will do and that is enough. Enjoy the season and may baby Jesus bring you comfort, hope and peace.

I think when people get frazzled around Christmastime, maybe they are doing too much. You are genuinely a wonderful person, Susan, filled with peaceful and loving thoughts, so just slow down, have a cup of tea, maybe a goody, and gaze at that beautiful tree. It looks like there's a lot of pink on the tree, which really reflects who you are.

Have a merry Christmas week, dear friend.
