As Christmas decor got packed away in plastic bins with tops, thoughts of Valentine's Day came to mind.Downstairs in the basement, while looking for something, my hand reached into a white bag.
Inside were Valentine Day decorations! Now the rest of the heart-studded decor is up in the freezing cold attic so finding a bag of doodads in the basement was an extra bonus.
They came from a sister's house. She was throwing them out when downsizing so I grabbed them. ha!
One was hung on the door in the hall, the angel and teddy bear landed on windowsills in the kitchen, and the rest on the front porch.
Yippah! Valentine's Day decor is cheerful and warms the heart.

Oh Susan, I have been thinking of Valentine's Day too. I want to start to decorate this weekend. Some fun and cute items you got from your sister. I have that same type bear, only with a green four leaf clover, which I put out for St. Patrick's Day. I love the red hearts she's holding. And that little angel girl is sweet as ever. Wow, you really made out. I bet you're glad you came across the white bag in the basement. Isn't it wonderful to find things that we didn't expect to? ; )
