So Much To Do, So Little Time

Easter has come and gone, over until next year.

We had crazy weather in Western Massachusetts.

One minute the sky was blue and sun shone down like melted gold.

The very next moment, there was snow drifting down in millions upon millions of flakes.

A few minutes later, we were back to the bright sun and pale blue skies and on and on like that it continued.

Anyway, hope your Easter was delightful.

This week it'll be back to decluttering in order to eventually downsize.

Just the thought of that is more than daunting. It makes me lose sleep at 3 o'clock in the morning.

On a positive note, Hartsprings, which collects donations for Big Brothers/Big Sisters sends notices and comes right to one's front door to pick up boxes.  Or, one can leave them down in front of the house or on a porch.

The photos in this post show a most recent donation.

Fluffy gray bunny was VERY hard to let go of but I did it. Figured she took up quite a bit of space. What I'll miss most is, well, gray bunny made me smile.

Bit by tiny bit, this house WILL get organized and have less "stuff" in it.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH DONATIONS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET RID OF?

Good luck with downsizing. It is something that most of us could benefit from. I know that organizing around here is a daunting task and overwhelming at times. I don't know what to do with everything. Most no one else would want a lot of what I have. So many craft supplies collected from over the past 30+ years -- cross-stitch, crochet, scrapbooking, etc. I try to do a little something each day but sure would be nice to have less and know exactly where everything is. Have a good week.

I bring mine to the Goodwill drop off. Good luck downsizing with all your collections Susan.

Oh Susan, the de-cluttering and giving away is coming along nicely. So good that you found a place to pick up all your stuff, and right on your front porch. When I give things away, I usually go to Goodwill. I know what you mean about the different weather. We are having the same thing. It's sunny one day, and then it rained and hailed and snowed. But I'll take it, as California needs rain so badly. I give you credit for all your work, Susan. It isn't an easy thing to do. You're doing a fantastic job.

We donate to the ARC thrift stores as it suport an excellent cause, people with disabilites. We think we might have a yard sale this summer when Hannah and Jake come out. I have so much LuLaRoe clothing and tried to sell things at Poshmark. I sold some things but people want everything for pennies and it is just not worth it. If I give good clothing away my husbands office supports different shelters for women and businesses so I would donate to them.
I hope youve had a good weekend and Easter and are ready for this new week. Take care.
