Beauty Around Us

All sighted people have to do to see the beauty all around is look for it!

It's there, in the tiniest of details.

The crystal cross at the top of this post provides dozens upon dozens of rainbows in the late afternoons when the sun hits it.

How cool is it to be in a room filled with rainbows wherever one looks? It is very cool, indeed.

A simple heart sticker beautifies the cross even more.

Words of wisdom become soothing, too.  The words shown here are on a prayer card found in a small box at Dollar Tree.

There are all kinds of sayings on them. They make great mini-paintings that can be placed in any room in the house.

Twenty cards for a dollar is a pretty darned good price.

A bowl of bright red baby tomatoes will taste good with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sprinkled with a tad of salt. The fact that a little grandson picked them makes them even more extra special.

Outside, the tiger lilies are blooming. While not a fan of orange flowers, I still appreciate the beauty of these lilies.

They make me think of my Aunt Julie who grew a slew of them.

The Lord has blessed His earthly children with so many beautiful things, free for viewing.

All we have to do is find and appreciate them.

CAN YOU SHARE SOMETHING OF BEAUTY IN YOUR OWN SPACE TODAY?

Your "this and that" post is beautiful, Susan, in every way. They are actually my favorite type of post, as it shows a few happenings in the person's life at the moment. I hope you have happy July days.

I also have a crystal cross which reflects the sun in my dining room. I look out to my patio and all my flowers are in bloom and they are so pretty . I'm so glad God gave me sight ...like you say...beauty surrounds us wherever we look.

That crystal cross shines beauty all around your room and the prayer cards make a good display with His words on them. I am in awe of God's creativity when I see flowers or the ocean and all the good things He made, on my daily walks.
