In Between Time

The leftover turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and other trimmings are all safe and sound in the refrigerator.

They await being scarfed down when the next meal time comes around.

They still taste utterly delicious, even a couple of days after Thanksgiving.

Today is a kind of "in between" time.

It's no longer Thanksgiving Day but it's not yet Christmas.

Many people are taking down their fall decor and replacing it with Christmas decorations.

While some people dislike decorating too early for Christmas, I like it because it stretches out that beautiful season.

Right now, there is a small white tree with pink roses and white lights on it in my bedroom.

I'll show it to you when it's completely finished.

Here's hoping you have a lovely day and evening, whether or not you eat turkey leftovers.

WHAT IS ONE WISH YOU'D LIKE TO COME TRUE THIS WEEKEND?

It was a nice Thanksgiving with delicious food, and I have already put the leftovers in the fridge. I can't wait to see your little white tree with the pink roses and white lights. Sounds magical, Susan. And I am one who decorates early for this very special Christmas season. Have a peaceful and restful Sunday. It's starting to be my favorite day of the week. : )
