Each day of life, it's fun to make a concerted effort to find sparks of joy.
That is actually this week's assignment given to participants in a group of which I am a member.
It really is fun to purposefully look for sparks of joy in our daily lives.
Many times, humans have a tendency to look for negative things that are happenting and concentrate on those.
I'd much rather look for sparks of joy.
One of the first encountered today is looking at a replica of my childhood Tiny Tears doll.
My daughter found her online and gifted me at Christmas a couple years ago.
My big sister, Diane, bought the darling blue and lilac-flowered dress and bonnet for the doll last Christmas.
My childhood Tiny Tears doll was named Michele, after a dear cousin.
She came everywhere with me for years.
She ate, slept, and played by my side around-the-clock.
So looking at her this morning, definitely brought many sparks of joy!
CAN YOU SHARE ONE THING IN YOUR OWN LIFE THAT BRINGS A SMILE TO YOUR FACE TODAY?

The doll that looks like your Tiny Tears Doll is sweet, Susan. Oh, I love dolls too, especially cloth dolls. Isn't that something that your daughter found one that looks just like your childhood doll? I'm sure she is a treasure for you. I still have the one Barbie doll that I had when I was young. The leg is broken, and I cut her hair haha, but she's still with me.
It's wonderful that you are in a group that exudes much goodness and joy. I just bought a magnet from my travels that says, "keep it happy."
Have a peaceful weekend, dear Susan.

Love that outfit on your doll. This morning I saw two hummingbirds flying around on my patio outside and it brought a smile to my face.
