Most people love the food of their childhoods.
Golumpki, (stuffed cabbage), is a Polish dish made by my maternal Polish grandmother, my mother, and now, me!
A dear friend, Christina, invited me over to her house for some golumpki that her sister made.
It's really great to have a special dinner with a friend for company.
Christina loves to create pretty scenes and the recent dinner was no exception.
On the dinner plates, she placed ribbons, baby's breath, and sweet ceramic birds.
She served veggie sticks with a Greek-style dip and they were yummy.
The golumpki were delicious, too, along with some pasta.
Flan, with whipped topping, maple syrup, and a pink Peeps bunny peeking over the whole delicious concoction, served as dessert.
