Plants with blooms in brilliant colors are faves as well.
Green trees and ferns that come in big sizes add greatly to one's decor, as well.
They add pizazz to any room.
Of course, like anything else, personal preference weighs heavily on what a person decides is best.
On a personal note, I even like flowering silk plants.
It's almost impossible to tell whether some of them are faux or not, they are so beautifully fashioned.
All photos in this post are from Ward's Nursery and Garden Center in Western Massachusetts.
Going to Ward's is always a joyous experience.
Soon it will be time to plant some perky pansies!
WHAT KINDS OF FLOWERS AND PLANTS DO YOU LIKE ?

A trip to the garden center sounds wonderful, Susan. There is always so many interesting things to see. I saw some silk flowers at the dollar store the other day, and wanted to buy some for Spring. You're right, sometimes they look so real. This garden center looks so green and lush filled with beautiful plants.
