Happy Birthday to the USA!
This is usually a happy day from start to finish.
My father and mother always took their five kids to the parade when I was a little girl.
The years my Dad bought us balloons were extremely exciting! I imagine he had spending money those years!
Today, 2023, many decades later, there is still a parade and several family members are attending.
I am hoping rain will stay in the clouds until the parade ends!

Happy Independence Day. So glad I'm an American and live in a free country. Going to a bbq at my son's house today. I do remember going to a parade when I was little and being very excited to see fireworks right from the backyard.
