All kinds of art add to the ambiance of a living space.
Whether it's something framed, figurines, or sculpture, art makes a place to call home very appealing.
The art shown at the top of today's post depicts Granada, a town in Nicaragua, Central America, where my late husband spent a lot of his childhood.
The piece was purchased several years ago on a trip to Nicaragua.
Seeing it must have brought back lots of memories for him.
There's so much detail in the piece that it's amazing.
WHAT KIND OF ART DO YOU ENJOY FOR YOUR LIVING SPACE?

I mostly have photos of family but have a special painting from New Zealand that my son bought for me that I love. I'm sure you enjoy looking at the picture from your trip to Nicaragua.
Much of the wall art in our house are paintings that we inherited from my husband's parents. They were painted by his great-great uncle who was an accomplished painter in the 1920's-1050's. The rest of the space is pretty much taken up by family photos of our children and grandchildren. Your painting is very colorful. I like it!
