Today is the first Sunday of Advent.
This is a time of waiting for the Lord.
It's a festive time, for sure, but also pensive.
It gives us time, in the weeks ahead, to contemplate what it means for Jesus to come down to the earth in the form of a little baby.
That very gift changed the world forever.

Yes, it's such a beautiful time of year. I went to the church the other day, and talked with the Priest and received Communion.
