Valentine's Day is getting closer.
Stopping at a big name crafts store always seems like a happy excursion deal on a dark and gloomy winter day.
It is.
Many Valentine's objects have 40 or more percent off.
Two bags of little hearts and a big shiny heart, attached to a red foil covered weight, have a new home in a small apartment.
The pink sparkly hearts and the package of stitched felt hearts, one which reads "I Love You," are in a crystal bowl on a living room buffet.
The sparkly red heart attached to a base is on a kitchen counter, overlooking a very small but useful kitchen table.
On the table near a well-used lounge chair is a white cloth covered with a rather stunning, large, crocheted red doily. An art of the past, homemade doilies are so very unique and beautiful.
Now if only a place can be found to stash Santa, in a low (or no) storage apartment, we'll be ready for Valentine's Day.

Oh your place will be looking lovely for Valentine's day that is for sure.
The hearts are delightful, and I especially like those felt hearts. There's just something about felt things that I love. I have a big felt envelope I bought at Target once, and I put all my cards in there. And I love your red crocheted doily, Susan. It looks so old and special. You're getting ready for Valentine's Day, and it's nice to see all your decor. By the way, craft stores are the best!
