A couple of years ago, at a beauty salon-of-sorts, a display showed a pair of crystal-glass swans.
It was almost impossible to take eyes off of them and they have never been forgotten.
The other day, while looking for a gift in a large store featuring things for the home, something caught my eye in the "wedding gift" section.
Swans! Yes, crystal-glass swans sparkled in the store's overhead lights, taking breath away.
Years after seeing the swans in that beauty salon, here stood two beauties.
Am I getting married again? Noooooooo.
Do I have anyone in mind as swan recipients? Noooooooo. (Well, maybe one person.)
The swan lovers look just gorgeous on the top shelf of the cranberry glass cabinet in the apartment living room.
Perhaps one day they will be given as a precious gift to some future bridge and groom.
However, in the meantime, they are home sweet home.
