This lovely painting of a solitary bird touches my heart.
The deep blue background adds to a feeling of loneliness.
What is that little fellow doing all by himself, with pretty white
flowers on the branches around him?
Where is his partner or friends?
It's easy in this life of hills and valleys to feel alone, like the white bird.
One thing I have learned, by being Christian, however, is that we are never really all alone in life.
Our Creator is always near us as well as angels He sends to help and watch over us.
Some people may not believe all that but I do.
Even during the hardest days along our life's journey, He is close by.
When we don't know what is going to happen next, He does.
That is so comforting and helps us know that we do not walk alone and we can call upon our Creator with our very next breath and He will answer.
Happy Sunday!

When you walk through a storm hold your head up high....That is the beginning of a wonderful Rodgers and Hammerstein song called "You'll Never Walk Alone"
Great post. I am so very thankful that I never have to go alone. My Lord and Savior is in front of me, beside me, above me, below me and behind me ALWAYS.
What beautiful words, dear friend. And so eloquently written. Loved every bit of it. : )
