Lots of oatmeal pecan raisin cookies came out of the oven this week, filling the apartment with luscious smells.
Since they got baked after supper, in the evening, the heat from the oven made everything feel cozy.
Most of the cookies went to others, slipped carefully into plastic baggies and presented with care.
Some, however, were put into the freezer for future giveaways and munching!
The new recipe being used is from chef and baker extraordinaire, Ina Garten.
Just google her favorite oatmeal raisin pecan cookies and you'll find the recipe. It's wonderful.
Below is the smile photo for today.
Rather than leave an unadorned roll of toilet paper in public view, adding a long legged Easter sweetheart does the trick. Here's hoping your weekend will be terrific.

I know your apartment was filled with the best smelling aroma coming from those cookies...Goodness..these look so good. This is so sweet of you to package them for others. You are a huge Blessing to people....
Those cookies look delicious and I love pecans. Looking for the right now…👀
I'm not a cookie eater at all but they look good. I usually make chocolate chip cookies when I bake cookies as my grandsons love them. They are not fond of oatmeal though. You will enjoy them as well as giving them to others.
Cookies look goooooooood. I saw your post on the side of Shug's blog and came over. Hubby loves oatmeal raisin. Ina rocks, too. She's fun to watch. Cheers and Happy Baking. Ivy.
Your oatmeal raisin pecan cookies look scrumptious, Susan. Wish I had one or three to go with my coffee this morning. So nice that you gave some to others. I will e-mail you today with a story. Your kitchen must smell of Yummy oatmeal oodness.
