A glass cross, when placed in a window, makes hundreds of tiny rainbows over everything, when sun shines through it.
These have made great gifts throughout the years and they are very affordable.
The glass rainbow cross has been on this blog in the past but it is always worth wrting about it again.
The other day, I realized my own glass cross stood on a dresser top with no sun being able to come through it.
So, I transferred it to a window in my bedroom.
Voila! Tons of rainbows sparkled over everything in sight.
I like to think of our ability to be kind, laugh, and treat others with compassion is being like that glass cross. When we touch the lives of others, in positive ways, we make the world a little bit better.
While we are unable to change some things, we can decide to live quality lives in our own way.
May today you find a way to touch the life of someone else, perhaps by giving a compliment, sharing your thoughts, or giving a long, heartfelt hug.
That way, you'll create your own "rainbows" of love!

A beautiful reflection on the impact of small, positive actions. Just as the glass cross creates rainbows with sunlight, acts of kindness can brighten the lives of others.
A beautiful rainbow of love. this is a lovely cross and it gives so much with it's radiant rainbows reflecting from the light. You chose a great place to put it...so pretty!!
I have a crystal cross on my dining room table too that belonged to our Mother. I love it and it's always on display and I see rainbows from the sun just like you do. It reminds me of her.
I've always loved this rainbow Cross, Susan. And it's showing more rainbows than ever. Such heartwarming words today, and giving a compliment to someone might make their day. I like when you said "rainbows" of love, as Jesus is love. : )

When I was a kiddo we had this glass door stopper to hold the door open. Rainbows everywhere! So fun. Cheers, Ivy.
