A bouquet of golden daffodils in a pretty vase on a table brings immediate joy to the beholder.
The bright yellow blooms seem to light up an entire room.
Some of them have eye-popping light orange and yellow centers. There are 25 or so different kinds of daffodils.
They are cheerful, in addition to being beautiful, with their bright buttercup yellow blossoms.
They are one of the first flowers of spring, symbolizing rebirth, among other things.
That significance is especially felt near Easter.
Keep daffodils away from kitties, though, as many parts of them, especially the bulbs, are very toxic to cats.
If daffodils grow near where you live, why not pay a little money and get a bunch of them?
Then you can bring them home to enjoy.
They make terrific self-care purchases as well as nice gifts for friends and family members to welcome spring.Daffodils are among the many thousands of gifts given to humans, without asking, from the hands of Almighty God.
HAVE YOU EVER GROWN DAFFODILS?

Yes I have daffodils that start popping up, the end of January. My son planted them for me about 10 years ago!
Daffodils are beautiful. I planted some last fall outside my fence so they could be seen from the road as they bloomed this spring. The year before I put about 200 tulip bulbs out there and the gophers ate them. I had gopher hills everywhere. Then I heard that gophers would either eat the daffodils and die or leave the daffodils alone and find another place to live. This year I had lots of beautiful blooms and no gopher hills, so I guess they left the daffodils alone and moved on. I also read that when you see bouquets of daffodils it's always just daffodils in the bouquet because if you mix them with other flowers they are toxic and they will kill the other flowers in the vase. I discovered this information while I was trying to find ways to get rid of the gophers in my yard.
Love me some daffodils. I do have some in my beds, but I get so sad after they bloom, because that is it for the year. We get about 3 weeks to enjoy them blooming...
My yellow daffodils have come and gone . They bloomed here a couple months ago. They are in a pot near my dining room window. I loved seeing them . They are one of my favorites. I hope you can get some to decorate your apt.
