Lots of Gratitude

When one's spirit starts to plummet, it's important to stop it in its tracks.

If a person allows negative thoughts and actions to proceed in life, they have a tendency to take over.

That's why it's imperative to immediately start thinking of all the good things you have been blessed with, not the negative.

Most of us could tell about something we're grateful for with every letter of the alphabet. We are that blessed.

It's so much better to think about what we're grateful for instead of blaming, complaining, gossiping,  hating, lamenting, and resenting.

While switching from complaints to gratitude, look around you and, hopefully, you will find dozens of things surrounding you for which you are thankful.

For instance, Stargazer lilies are my number one flower. Their fragrance is intoxicating.

Coming across  a package of Stargazer lilies, it simply had to come home with me.

Happiness in the future is in that box!

In this post, a couple of my precious dolls are things for which I'm grateful as well as flickering light from a candle surrounded by soft, pink roses, and Stargazer lily bulbs, reading for planting.

Mentioned are material "things" for which to be grateful.

Over and above them, are faith, family, dear and faithful friends, ability to see, hear, walk, sing, and dance.

Here's a sincere wish that you will have a super day today, minus the doldrums, with lots of gratitude to lift up your spirits.

CAN YOU SHARE ONE THING YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR RIGHT NOW?

Gratitude is great however too much focus on personal comforts can lead to becoming oblivious to catastrophic events in the world. Pericles said it best, you may not be interested in politics, but at some point politics will be interested in you.

Grateful for sunshine and 80 degree temps today. I'll be at the pool for sure.

Too many things that I'm thankful for to write down, dear Susan. Blessings come all the time. Groceries for one.....at the store today, I was able to buy a few extra goodies. I always love seeing your dolls, they are exquisite, and candles in our homes truly make it heartwarming. A special post of gratitude, Susan, thank you.

I’m thankful for my birdhouses. I love identifying my visitors. Seeing new ones each day.

I wake up each day and thank God for all good things around me and even the difficult. It is my path and I know what I have to do. With all the cold temps & rain we have had, I think of all the homeless who have no where to go. Grateful to have so much in this world.
