Good Thinking About Money

Ben Franklin seems to have been a man who gave really good advice.

He appears to have been extremely smart.

His legacy also comes across as his being very wise.

One quote I recently came across made me really stop and think.

Here it is:

"Money has never made man happy. The more one has, the more one wants."

There have been times when receiving extra money did make me happy, at least for awhile.

It's nice to be able to go out to a classy restaurant for dinner or go have a manicure and pedicure.

So I wouldn't agree with ol' Ben's statement 100 percent.

The second part of his statement, I think, is true, that "the more one has the more one wants."

Also true is that the more a person acquires does not necessarily bring happiness.

Some of the richest people I've known in life are not necessarily happy and some of the poorest really were!

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON BEN FRANKLIN'S QUOTE?

I don’t think about money too much but it’s always nice to have a cushion for hard times. Ben Franklin was a very wise man. Managing money is most important.
