Oh Christmas Tree!

It took a long time to convince me to switch from a living to an artificial tree. Now, Christmas would not be as memorable without one! For years it was done completely in gold-colored ribbons and balls but for the last two years, pink balls, pink and gold poinsettia, and white and gold cherubs have been added.

One year I saw how a designer used ribbons to highlight a tree and that's how that idea originated. The more than seven foot tree in our living room was a gift from a dear, high school friend. It comes on a special stand that slowly twirls it around. It takes about four hours to put the tree together and then probably four more to add all the dodads but it's worth every second because it adds so much beauty to our holiday! So,hope you enjoy this mini tour of our Christmas tree.

Gorgeous tree Susan...you and your hubby did a wonderful job. Wish I were there in person to see it. xo Diane

I like EVERYTHING about your tree! The colors are my favorites to admire. (I've tried and tried to "do" pinks & pastels in OUR house because I love to see them...but somehow I can't make it translate into our setting - so I am content to love other peoples'!)
