The Pillows of Summer and Giveaway Winner

For many years, whenever  heart-shaped or rose-covered pillows were found, (here, there, and everywhere), they came home.  If they happened to be edged in lace or adorned with ribbons, so much the better!  Thrift shops or  yard sales yielded most of the pillows.

Once home, the pillows were washed, dried, and then stored inside a covered window seat in a bedroom.

This spring, at last, they found a place on the side porch, adorning wicker furniture and big as well as child sized rocking chairs.

Every time I go out onto that porch, those long orphaned pillows make me smile.

DO YOU CHANGE YOUR DECOR FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS?

Also, WE HAVE A WINNER in the 300th post Giveaway. The books on tea will go to Claus whose blog is called Claudia's  http://claudiaguatemala.blogspot.com/     Her name was pulled out of the container by my husband.

Thanks to all of you who asked to be included. On to the 400th post when we will do the Giveaway again. ~~Hurray~~!

Since this is the land of "eternal spring", there are no marked seasons so that I can change decor for. It is always sun or rain (some months more of either). I do change, of course, for Christmas! :-) and then lately for Halloween also. I love to dress the house accordingly, especially now, I am sure, that I have a niece!

I'm a winner!! I cannot believe it!! What a great way to start off a week and a new month!! I have sent an email withmy info. Thanks a million!!
Have a lovely day!

Re. Tasha Tudor-Becky's Christmas-comment you made, I responded in comment section but in case you don't go back to check.... I'll look for it! ('course if I find it, I may have to keep it with a title like that - my name AND my birthday! Yes, Christmas Day is my birthday!)
