A Hard-Shell Appeal: Post for SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2011

Hello Lord.

It's me, Little Turtle.

I'm making an appeal to you.

I know I don't have a right to ask too much. You're already so good to me, to give me a nice home and my own rack to live in.

But I'm going to ask you a favor anyway.

Lord, please, don't send any more snow our way.

The humans I live with are so tired of shoveling.  They are just sick of all the white stuff that has fallen. All they talk about is what a lousy winter this has been.

So Lord, can you hear me?

Please, NO MORE SNOW.

I love you. Bye.

Hi Little Turtle!
My little ferrets here is South Carolina have been praying for no more snow, either.
God must have had to send it somewhere, so it went to your humans' house.
I'll tell them to quit praying now.
Okay?
Nite nite, Mr. T.
Hugs from Mrs. H

The groundhog lies. I'm counting on you, turtle! We were told to expect an inch overnight. 3-7 a.m we received about four inches and they are calling for more almost every day this week. This deep freeze has got to go! Sorry, Turtle, it is heading your way. Tuck yourself in a hibernate.

Hi Susan! HA! From that first image to the comments, I have a big smile on my face and am laughing. I love Middle Child's comment. :) I can't imagine all the snow you are dealing with. I am definitely a warm weather kinda girl. Sending hugs your way, Tammy

Oh that is so funny - but so true. I hope for no more snow for you either. How much do you have?

Welcome to this blog's 177th Follower. I think it might be Patty? In any event, WELCOME. Come back often.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. News Flash: There was almost no snow accumulation today but there was plenty of ICE that made walking and driving trecherous. Thank goodness for the crackling fireplace and blessed HOME. Hugs, Susan
