Weekend Jaunt

What could be better than spending the afternoon having fun with a dear friend?

Attending a church tag sale, followed by lunch out is a winning combination.

Picking up a few Christmas gifts for others was definitely part of the fun.

Then, at a restaurant called Tunnel City Cafe, in Massachusetts, we each had a piece of delicious quiche. It had dried tomatoes in it, as well as ham and lots of creamy cheese.

Loved looking in the yum yum (dessert) case but am happy to say I didn't order a blessed thing from there.   Sure enjoyed looking, though.

Outside, I loved this plant arrangement.

WHAT FUN THING DO YOU HAVE ON TAP FOR THE WEEKEND?

Oh forget the plants darling! My eyes are glued to those desserts! Do you know how good something from that yummy selection would taste with a good cup of coffee!

You are teasing me!

I love hearing from you dearest Susan of Susans!

Church tag sales! Better than my favorite thrift store! Since they're going to be Christmas presents, I guess you can't go public with your finds????

Sounds like a lovely time indeed. A bit of thrifty shopping and lunch with a friend always makes for a wonderful outing. We went to Wasabi for lunch (Japanese food) and now the boys have gone off with friends. It's a rather hazy day here. Nothing else on the agenda. :) Hope you have a fab day. Tammy

Looks like you had fun (as usual) that weekend. That cake looked delish too.

This weekend we are going to an apple orchard!

Love,

Looks like lots of fun! I am going to enjoy some of my last days here in Cali. Ash is having her Housewarming party Sat and that will be fun.

hugs, Linda
