Please Pass the Salt and Pepper Shakers, Even If They Are Empty!

Hi Everybody!

You know what?  If I were going to start a new collection (and, trust me, I'm not, because there are already far too many collections around here), what would it be?

Hmmmmmm, it would probably be salt and pepper shakers.  There are so many absolutely unique and darling sets out there in the gift shop world.

Recently, we drove to a small town nestled in the hills. Over the bridge and down the road apiece, there's the cutest place you could ever imagine. It's called the Huntington Country Store.

They have a website, too, so check them out. (Huntington Country Store.)

In today's photos, we are showing a few of the salt and pepper shakers for sale there. Aren't they adorable?

Okay, now here's a question for you:

IF YOU WERE TO START A NEW COLLECTION, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

My late best friend used to have a S&P collection. They can overtake your kitchen, but some are so cute.

I'd like to collect SM, spending money. I already have a collection of small ceramic rabbits and stuffed holiday snowmen. I am sad when i have to put them away.

These are adorable! We didn't go in, but when we were visiting Gatlinburg, TN a while back we saw they had a salt and pepper shaker museum!
Hope you have a great day,
Kathy

I love those - especially the second picture - the cows - I love them.

Again - I am trying to travel light and believe it or not I already have collection myself.

If I were to start one just for fun - had the money and the space - flamingo's - I'm kind of starting to like those things. TEEHEE! sandie

I've recently considered collecting two things: vintage alarm clocks, and vintage cameras. I have a few of the latter already, but not enough to consider it a collection.

Cute, cute, cute! I need a tiny salt shaker and a very big pepper shaker! Hmmm ... collections, I've done teddy bears, hearts, angels, souvenir spoons, plates ... I don't think I need to collect anything else either. :) Happy day to you. Tammy

Oh so cute! We are going to start to sound like twins here, or maybe I am going to start to sound like a copy cat. I collect salt and pepper shakers! No new collections needed here, 'cause I have too many kinds of collections already! LOL!

My salt and pepper shakers need to have this criteria: to be old and to be worn looking. My collection started when I was a teen and my grandmother gave me some of her old salt and pepper shakers. Special memories attached.
