Colorful flowers need no words to shout out "Welcome."
Their very presence on a table, in a foyer, or front entryway says "Come in. Glad you are here."
We wrote about a lovely lunch there in another post. If interested, you can read it here: http://writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com/2012/03/lunch-out-on-town.html
Putting a bouquet on a table in front of a mirror doubles its beauty!
When the sun shines down on the flowers, the sight is startling. One cannot help but feast one's eyes on such loveliness.

The tulips are beautiful,Susan. Yes, rays of sunshine. Do you know it was 74 here yesterday... this morning it was 35 with wind chill of 27. This afternoon it began to sleet and poured pieces of ice for nearly 30 mintues. Mother Nature is so messed up!!!
Love my bouquet of roses, calia lilies, shasta daiseys, carnations, and greens that I got for teacher appreciation week yesterday. Now I have flowers in three rooms of my house...wheee....
GORGEOUS bouquet... You've certainly brightened my day , Susan .....Thanks
The birds are whistling new songs... that's always a tell-tale sign too. I just love it.
Those tulips do declare the sunniest of welcomes. I love a bunch on my dining table ... anywhere else, for that matter......
Puts a 'spring' in one's step!
Happiest of days to you, Susan!
I know spring is coming - we are getting ladybugs in the house. Sandie
