Splendor in the Evening Sky
Driving to a mall to purchase a gift for a baby shower, I looked out of the side window of my car.
The sky looked like the canvas of a heavenly artist.
The clouds did a slow dance amid the primarily gold, blue and white of the sky.
Along the horizon, the clouds looked like billowing mounds of whipped cream.
Slowly and cautiously, I pulled the car to the right of the mall driveway, put on my signal, rolled down the window and took some photos.
As always, my beloved blog peeps were on my mind.
How I wanted you to see such a masterpiece of a sky at dusk!
Something that lovely, given to us freely as a precious gift from the hands of the Father, needs to be shared with the world, don't you think?
DO YOU HAVE LOVELY SUNSETS WHERE YOU LIVE?

Don't you just love such majestic skies? I can sit for hours watching sunsets.
Thanks for the lovely pictures. Even our evenings here are too hot now to enjoy. It is 104 here today with clouds...our Kansas family is at 109...Susan, the heat is getting to us because now they say two months of the same ahead. Your sunsets are reminder what it CAN be like again some day!
Gorgeous. We do get lovely sunsets and sometimes I manage to capture them :-)
Yes we have glorious sunsets in So. Cal...especially overlooking the ocean. God's wonders are something to be very grateful for.
Wonderful pictures! We have some memorable sunsets here. The front of our house faces the west. xo Nellie
The second picture and the last? Definely God's creations.
I love those beautiful skies at your home - and yes we are lucky and have beautiful skies too! sandie
I noticed lovely colors in the sky the other evening as the sun was setting with dotted clouds reflecting the light but the big honking house that is going up across the street blocks my view now so I couldn't get a good shot. :/ I love seeing such a beautiful sky! Wishing you a great week. Tammy
Susan, natural beauty surrounds us. Thanks for the gorgoeus photos.
