Recently, I had the opportunity to go to a puppet show with one of my sisters and four of her adorable, lively and happy little grand kids.
We'll have a post about the puppet show in the next couple of weeks but I wanted to share with you what we did after the show!
We were in the quaint and darling town of Stockbridge which is well known for its affiliation with the famous New England painter, Norman Rockwell.
The planters in front had large wooden figures of ice cream cones that were so darned cute.
There were sweet displays and all kinds of yummies like this gigantic "ceramic" cupcake and candies galore.
This is a huge ice cream cone decoration:
It was a fun afternoon from start to finish.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FLAVOR OF ICE CREAM?

I'm a Butter Pecan girl!!
That is a cute store, and the building reminds me of my brother in law's book store, built in 1815.
I like green tea mochi ice cream balls.
Really !!!! ... Who enjoyed themselves the most... I think you ( ha ha) .. What a delightful place to share ... I suspect that the big kids would have just as much fun ... What kind of ice cream did you have? ... Mine would have been Strawberry... Maybe I should go to the ice cream parlour today .. Thanks for the inspiration... Hugs
Oh I am so glad the sweet shop is not here in my town, Lord help me. I have a sweet tooth. Thanks for stopping by, Richard from My Old Historic House.
Mint chip is my favorite flavor. I bet the kid and you and your sister had a great time! Love the decorations at this store.
