Seek Sweet Serenity This Sunday

(Photo taken inside St. Paul's Church in Stockbridge, MA)

Some days of  life speed by faster than runaway trains.

Stress builds.

Blood pressure rises.

 Hearts beat faster and faster.

It even becomes difficult to breathe.

Today, seek sweet serenity.

Sit for a moment, outside if possible.

Just be rather than do.

May your day be filled with sweet serenity.

IS IT HARD FOR YOU TO JUST "BE" RATHER THAN "DO?"

The body and mind need rest. Thanks for the reminder. I am more of a doer, I admit.

I plan to take your advice today. It's been a stressful week and I need a break! Hope your day is a good one.

Somehow we are programmed to believe we are not productive enough unless we are always "doing" something! I must confess a slight bit of guilt whenever I take time to just "be."

Great post, Susan!
