Gratitude Sunday #2

Joining the second Gratitude Sunday party over at Linda's blog, A La Carte.

Stop by there and read what others are thankful for, before exploring your own heart!

Today, I'm thankful for colors.

While pastels are nice, colors that sizzle appeal to me a lot.

I love brightening up a room with splashes of color.

My  all time favorite colors are pink and then purple, both in varying shades.

But I love bright splashes of orange, burgundy, green, cobalt blue, well, just about every color there is.

A big bouquet or even a single flower in any color fills my heart with happiness.

It's so important to add color, especially during the dark and gloomy days of winter.

Around here, we are getting ready to decorate for Valentine's Day so lots of pinks and reds will be brightening things up.

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude for being able to see colors.

It's such a beautiful gift!

The world would be so dull if we saw only in black and white, don't you think?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR AND WHY?

Susan - colors are one of my most favorite things - ever!

And I can understand and believe it is one of your most favorite things too.

Colors are a lot to be thankful for!

I like the lovely colors in your home especially during the sometimes drab days of winter. My favorite color is still white. It seems to make all of the other colors so much prettier!

I have always loved red, but because I am rather large, I would not wear it until a few years ago. At my current age, I believe it's important to dress in vibrant colors and whatever makes a person feel good. On cloudy days, I always try to wear a bright color, and it makes me feel more cheerful, even if nobody else notices. Hubby's favorite color is purple, so I wear a lot of that, too, just to keep peace in the family! :-)

Colors and patterns CREATED by multiple colors. Yes! The more, the merrier.

I love bright colors, life's simple pleasure. How did we ever live with black and white photos? Imagine that's how colorblind people see the world.

I love color as well. My favorites are purple and pink, but yellows and blues also brighten my day.

I'm thankful today for a huge breakthrough - an agent and a publishing contract. :)))
