Blessed Sunday

Today, I wish you a few moments of silence.

It's amazing how the older I get, the more I crave solitude.

Even a short time spent relaxing, eyes closed, breaths deep, make a huge difference in how we feel.

So today, even if for a brief space of time, give yourself the gift of solitude.

ARE YOU ABLE TO SPEND TIME ALONE ON A REGULAR BASIS?

Hi Susan! Yes! I love my alone time and fortunately I have lots of it. I don't think I'd ever be lonely, either. Time flies as I write, and read, and just enjoy "being," ya know?

Yes, Susan I do love solitude. It is food for the soul; a time to contemplate. Glad you are able to have some for yourself.

Today I will be thinking of my brother who passed away 13 years ago today. I miss him so much and wonder how he would be at age 57, which is what he would have been this year had he lived.

May his soul rest in peace.

I get to spend a lot of time semi-alone. I love my deck for being alone...but sometimes have "company" around doing his thing. :)

Well Susan - I think having time alone is critical - and I am glad that you have taken some recently - I still need to work at getting some more alone time in. lol sandie

Yes, thankfully, I am able to have much time alone these days. I still remember the days of bringing up two children, only 13 1/2 months apart, and wishing for a quiet moment! Back in those days, my only quiet time came after they were in bed for the night, and by then, I was too tired to appreciate the solitude! Have a beautiful Sunday, Susan! :-)

Well, hubby works at home, so I'm never alone, but I have my space and he has his, so I'm very happy this way. I'm so happy you liked my shawl-runner and glad you liked the idea...now I'm even gonna look for others, lol..Have a super week.

I love being alone and cherish it whenever I am. It is good for our well being and to recharge.
