Can't say it's a big thing around here but yours all have happy faces and I do like them, they are much better than clowns.

What a fun post, Susan! I don't use them myself but I enjoy them a lot! As far as your comment on my blog, thank you! I never eat mushrooms that I find, I just enjoy taking photos of them. I cannot tell if they are poisonous or not, so it is better safe than sorry.
Oh Susan, I love scarecrows! A few always work their way into my fall decorating. Thanks for always giving us delightful things to enjoy. Your blog is a favorite of mine...always.
Hugs,
Linda
Hi Susan,
I am the new follower of your wonderful blog.
I also love writing and photography, so we have something in common. I hope you may take a look at my blogs, if you wish.
I shall be back.
Greetings from Poet Starry.
You have some nice looking pumpkins Susan!(I had to write and delete and write and delete your name 3 times!! I kept making you a Su'z"an!!)At school, we have a scarecrow contest!! They they auction them off to raise money for the school!
beautiful Autumn photos!!! Loved the pumpkins, oh how I wish I had them here!!!
No, we don't decorate with scarecrows, but I remember we made one at pour old dacha, for purpose of scaring crows :)hehe
Those scarecrows look sweet :)
Hello from Spain: in agriculture land near my house there are several scarecrows. I read that you always go with your camera. Very good. Keep in touch
There happens to be a scarecrow on my autumn wreath! I like them for this season.
Aren't they the cutest?
I do decorate with scarecrows even tho I don't have anything to scare away the crows from! I usually put one in my flower garden and it brings instant color to an otherwise fading garden bed.
I remember many years ago, my mother made a scarecrow for her garden out of odds and ends and we helped her decorate it. What fun it was to look at from inside the house on the frosty fall mornings. Sometimes it would be shrouded in mist and other times would be circled with colorful blowing leaves. At night, under a full harvest moon, it would take on quite a scary appearance. They always bring back memories of happy autumn days.
Hope you are enjoying these splendid fall days.
I am ready for a little bit of fall in my home! Pumpkins for sure!
Got darling new scarecrow this year...wire and plant stand for a mum on the bottom. Got it at Wal-Mart...bet you have some too! I was NOT buying one this year...but this one was too cute to pass up. Am on a fishing trip...am so ready to get back to my own deck and décor for autumn. (I was ready before we left!)
I WISH it were autumn here but it is to go to 90 this weekend...so thoughts of fall are still far off..I like pumpkins and scarecrows but do not decorate around here.
I use to...my mother-n-law made me the most wonderful scare crow one time and I hung it on the door and someone stole it took it a block away tore off its heart and burned it....:( never did replace it.
What a great post to head to bed on - very happy and very colorful - I hope I'll dream about them too!
